Highest Salary Extension Request

I was floored when, in an all-star league that I am an owner in, 2 of my players asked for the following extensions:

Catfish Hunter http://vacant.cc/acl/league/23.htm 6 years $17m/year

Barry Bonds http://vacant.cc/acl/league/160.htm 6 years $14m/year

I had no idea the game asked for extensions that high. So, I figured it would be interesting to see the highest extension requests other people have seen.

i've seen 14 million from Shawn Green in Arizona.

However, in September he signed for only 11 million...dont know why, arizona was in last place

why would he take less than he demanded to play in a last place team? he could have easily garnered 14 million in free agency.

oh well...

Sammy Sosa was asking for $19 million in Baseball Maelstrom. Toronto let him walk.

During Free Agency, he was signed by Anaheim.....for $24.1 million per year (2 year contract)!
