I just could not handle the way the leauge was turning out. A trend that I thought would dissapear after the season, which was a high number of walks league-wide, actually got worse the longer I played. After some thought I decided that instead of messing with league totals and creation modifiers it was in my best interest to start over with modified modifiers. Hopefully this works better. Hopefully this is interesting enough for somebody to follow it.

League Halts Trade Activity

In a move that nobody saw coming, Northwest League officials have announced that all trade activity will be halted until further notice. "This decision was made for two reasons. First if forces teams to build from within and scour the waiver wire. Roster decisions will be more closely scrutinized and it should give the fans a product they will recognize from year to year. Secondly, we just could not put a set of rules in place that we could all agree on." responded an unnamed league source.

What does this mean? The league source is correct. This will force teams to look at the waiver wire for improvements and also from within. Fans will get to see their favorite players from year to year without worrying whether the team will deal them when times are tough. Losing them to free agency is another thing but without trades teams are more likely to put forth the money to resign their best players.
