Bracket Busts and Booms

So far I'm 7 of 8 but I have a bracket buster in freekin Oklahoma
Picked the Okies to elite 8 and that really hurts. In retrospect I'm asking myself, wtf was I thinking?Everything else is good so far but I think I have more potential points in a couple brackets with 6 of 8 right.Anyone wanna fess up their busts or brag about their booms?

No busters so far. I have UW-Milwaukee though to the Elite 8. That might backfire. Zags almost killed me tonight.

Nevada has hurt me. Like you with Oklahoma, in hindsight I have no idea why I picked them to go as far as I did.

I've lost Nevada and SD St of my Sweet Sixteen teams. My top eight are still going. I'll be 11-5 today if Washington wins, which is pretty terrible.

I had Nevada, Marquette, and Seton Hall in the Sweet 16. Nice way to start the tourney for me.

13/16 on the day for me provided Washington holds on. The good thing, I guess, is SD State was the only Sweet 16 team I lost.

I've lost one S16 team, Nevada, and that could hurt.

Was Nevada super good or something? Cause it seems like a lot of us picked Nevada to go pretty far and we all got screwed.

Montana isn't exactly a powerhouse, not even for a #12 seed. Or so I thought...So it's not necessarily that Nevada is super good, it's just that they had Montana in round one and were projected to have Pacific or BC in round II, and I don't think BC is as good as others do (and the Pacific game supports that). I kind of had them in the S16 by default.

I went 13/16 and only lost one-rounders. If I had any intelligence, I wouldn't have picked Iona or South Alabama. UNC-Wilmington just choked that game away.

So far I'm 13 for 16, but my losses have been kind of costly. I've lost Syracuse (Sweet 16), Marquette (Had them losing next game anyways), and Nevada (Had them in my Final 4, why I don't know).

15 out of 16. Nothing past the 2nd round. Hopefully, the good luck keeps on rolling.

Er, I've never heard of being overrated for actually winning an NCAA tournament game. Just because they didn't win by 30 doesn't mean they are overrated. This is a Pacific team that has beaten Big East schools two years in a row, and are tourney tested.

12 out of 16 for me. Stupid picks of Marquette/Seton Hall, as I was counting on the Big East to finally show up.

Roffle. And Pacific being "tourney-tested" means that they've lost in the tourney before, yes.

I didn't use the word "overrated." A lot of people think BC is really good. I don't know if that means most people or not, but I don't think BC is really good. Struggling basically the whole game against Pacific doesn't mean they are a bad team, but it does raise a flag. How far do you have BC going?

I had 'Cuse and Air Force in my Sweet 16. I don't know why AF ended up in there but they did.

This wasn't addressed to me, but I'll chime in and say I have BC to the Sweet 16, which is looking good now. I think they'll have the firepower to beat Montana, but unless they get a big day out of Hinnant, I can't see them getting by Villanova.

The bracket I built for my dad got hosed when Marquette lost. I think 'Cuse went either Sweet 16 or Elite 8 in my personal bracket. Damn my McNamara lovefest.

Can't remember where I had Marquette going in my personal bracket, but otherwise my losses were 1st rounders i think.

Have them losing to UConn in the final four. If I was guarenteed a 100% healthy Ray for Villanova I would have them losing to Villanova as well. I'm not sure they will have the shooting this time around. (they probably will and I'll cry).
