This is a heck of a game.

Who are the DULLARDS that are harpooning this tournament? "Yeah, I don't like my baseball being good."

bases loaded for Venezuela with 2 outs top 9 down 2-1...an entire nation is sitting on the edge of their seat and the WBC is possibly going to be ended because Americans arent as into it as MLB would like?

Where did you hear that? Last I heard, Bud was happy with its success.

Is this thing rigged or what?

First the United States wins by one run on an atrocious call, and an overturn of a correct call at that.

Then the Dominican advances by one run when the Venezuelan catcher just decides not to catch a pitch with the bases loaded.

It just seems that the teams who are "supposed" to advace are being helped in their quest by very strange plays.

Seriously, there was no reason for Ramon Hernandez not to catch that ball. He just watched it go right by him.

from what Ive heard on several articles (probably not the greatest resources, and I hope their wrong) its being seen as a failure to many Americans (partially based on attendance figures), and Im not sure how the heads of MLB (and owners) feel aside from Bud.

Im not going to back what Ive read as I hope its wrong and think its at least partially incorrect.
