OOTP6 Crashing everytime I click on something

I've had crash problems before but never like this...

I can open the league but I can't click on ANYTHING without the game crashing. I can't click on any of the toolbar options, any of the teams or players or anything like that. Anyone have this problem before, I did a search and didn't find anything similar.

I should add that it's ONLY for this one particular league and not every league on my HD, so is my league just dead and I'll have to move on?

BUMP out of desperation

I get this error everytime I click on a team or the league schedule and the game crashes:

OOTP6.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've reinstalled and it doesn't work, it's got to be something with the game file. Am I just screwed?

Try to disable your anti-virus software, if you have any installed. I am having a similar problem with my OOTP sw, and it started after installing the AV sw. I disabled it and it started working again

The problem is definitely with the LEAGUE FILE ONLY, not the actual game. Other leagues are running fine just not this one. Definitely don't want to lose this league after 20 seasons, having managers for all the teams, stadiums, logos etc.

Ok, REALLY desperate here, I've put a ton of work into this league and was having a blast with it. If I can't fix the problem is there a way that I can like copy all of the players and teams and histories etc. over into a new league file and keep it going and keep it working with cato? I'd really appreciate some help here.

If you haven't been backing up your league, you're probably out of luck. But check the obvious deeply...i.e. no players listed twice in lineups, injured pitchers scheduled to start, incomplete lineups. The game crashes because it is being asked to perform a function which has become impossible due to missing data or data input that cannot be computed as programmed.

The problem is, I can't even check this stuff, if I try to click on a team or the league schedule or anything like that it crashes.

There isn't a trick to like copy stuff and start a "new league" with the players having their histories etc.?

Can you get to the "League Setup" page without a crash?

Yes, that's pretty much it. I can't get into the league schedule, teams, players etc.
