Durability
Forgive me if this has been asked before...
I know that a 'durable' player is less likely to sustain an injury... But does it in anyway also effect: How many games a player can play without getting 'tired'? The propensity to have age-related talent dropoffs? Anything else? Thanks in advance! |

I think this is a good question. And I've wondered the same thing.
I think that either of your two questions could be plausible. However, I think the effect is fairly minor; to the extent that I have not noticed any evidence. This doesn't mean the effects do not exist though. Sorry for the roundabout answer. Either way, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. |

I think you see an effect in less age-related declines, but thats probably due to less injuries once they're older, which accelerates the chance of declines.
But, I'd be willing to bet there's no effect on other things than injuries, just due to the nature of direct correlation between each rating and some specific stat.

From what I can tell, this is how it goes . . .
A player who is prone to injuries will be injured more often than the average player. A player who is durable will be injured as often as the average player. |

if you do a search you will come to the conclusion that the injury rating doesnt work like it probably should.
many people report seeing prone guys never get hurt in 15 years and durable guys get hurt every year for 15 years (including myself). there was supposedly a study that showed proneness causes a tiny bit more missed days per year, but the results were never posted and i consider the source as less than believable.
