Anyone see this before?
This is Ted 'Headless' Williams, from my 100 year simulation. (He has been renamed to protect the innocent).
He is still going strong, but in his HTML reports, under the top 10 leaderboard at the bottom, it has quit adding when he makes it. As you can see, he has done quite well as a player. But, he has made the leaderboard in 1952, 1953 and 1954. He only played 14 years, so it is not the 25 year thing. Anyone ever see this happen before? It has also happened to another player. I am going to clean his history file out and see if that makes a difference. (Of course, make a backup Larry) http://www.larryhosting.com/1953/p792.html BTW, even if I go into the game and bring up his player and click on player html, it does the same thing.

I know what is causing it.
OOTP has a limit. It will only show 100 items in the leaderboard. There are exactly 100. If you look closer, you willl see that it shows him finishing 2nd in SLG in 1951, but under OPS, it shows nothing. He lead the league in OPS in 1951. That is the last one that is displayed. Nothing from 1952 to the current date is shown or will be shown.

that last series is absolutely obscene! Did anyone else need to show up for the games or did he win it all by himself

You talking about the 1950 series? When he went 11-16 with 2 doubles, 2 triples, 3 homeruns and 9 rbis in 4 games?
They won 9-5, 5-2, 1-0 and 10-1. In the 1-0 game he went 1-4, which means he went 10-12 in the other three games. Think he got the WS MVP? Quote:

Yes. On the player HTML sheets.
As far as my program, it only messes up one thing. In total HOFpoints, you get 1 point for everytime you lead the league in something positive. So, after 1951, he gets no additional points, but, then again, I don't think anyone can make the top 10 in 100 times and not have enough 'other stats' to generate enough HOFpoints. So, it just makes my program inaccurate in comparing 'greatest players ever', to a point. Quote:

I particularly like this little nugget from his player information:
Consistency: Very Inconsistent Clearly this is the case.
