Are these announcers for ESPN stupid?

If they do not know the rules why would they be allowed to be announcers?

Spielman is an idiot. What rule in particular are you talking about? They didn't complain much about the running into the punter call--that was a good call. Spiel was right to complain about the Iwebema call on the "helmet to helmet" contact.

But yeah, Spielman is an idiot.

Basically every time they start to complain. The whole "He pushed him out" on the opening drive. The fact that he was applauding a hit by Florida when it was a penalty on that player for hitting a receiver way after the ball was incomplete. The Helmet-to-Helmet was questionable but it really wasn't that bad of a call because he did give him a blow to the head which should be a penalty anyway.

Ok, they convinced me they were stupid when they said Hodge should have played the INSIDE shoulder and let the TE (#4 in that set) to the outside down the field. Idiots.
