Kolb was also an All-Star with the Brewers before he was traded.

trola, it's odd to see Kolb cut, I guess the Brewers thought they could get him to sign.

I've heard of:
SP Ryan Franklin (SEA) - Wasn't he caught for steroids?
SP Wade Miller (BOS) - Used to play for the 'Stros, I think
SP Ramon Ortiz (CIN)
SP Josh Fogg (PIT)
MR Dan Kolb (MIL)
MR Lance Carter (TB)
1B Jason Philipps (LA) - Huge thick Glasses, no?
OF Eric Byrnes (BAL) - Didn't he play for the A's? Kinda long hair?

If signed, this would probably be the front end of the Orioles rotation.

I really think Miller will end up a Tiger, if not him, Fogg.

Also, Byrnes may be looked at if he Monroe is shipped.

Likewise, is it pathetic I know every player listed??

I want the Cardinals to sign Byrnes so they can have an outfield platoon of two guys who were traded for each other last year.

The intent was to resign him to a lesser deal within the next 2 weeks.

SP Josh Fogg (PIT) - Hallelujah. There were so many reports that the Pirates were going to offer him arbitration, that I thought they might actually be true. 6-11 with a 5.05 ERA last year and 39-42 with a 4.74 ERA career. He made $21.5 million in his first year of arbitration last year and was likely due to get more, despite his poor performance, this year.

Fogg's a 5th SP type for those who need it - he'll find a home for a team that was smart enough not to overpay for the Washburn's and Morris'. Byrnes would certainly be a solid 4th OF anywhere, especially for a team with an aging OF - the Giants come to mind.

Ryan Franklin was 9th in ERA in 2003. Wonder what happened these last 2 years?

Wait...

Josh Fogg made $21.5M last season? You're kidding, right?
