What's the deal with the duplicate threads

It usually happens, but only occasionaly. I saw three (at least) on the front page today including one that was had 3 copies instead of two. Is it slow response time and clicking due to impatience or something more troubling (board problems, etc).

Actually mine kept timing out on me and giving me a page can not be displayed error. When I came back it was there three times.

I'm having troubles right now. It may be a Firefox thing. I use IE at work.

Ah, I've had that happen to me (the error). But I've always double checked to see if the message went through before reposting and usually it seems it does (in my experience, ymmv)

I had a double post in OT yesterday and it was not because I posted it twice. Not sure what the deal is.
