When I listen to Madden, on the rare occasion, the mood ring turns blue awful quick.

I miss Summerall & Madden together. They always reminded me of Statler and Waldorf

I saw a "Brett Favre" standup by some guy who was pretending to be John Madden somewhere. Oh boy do I wish I remember it. It was absolutely hilarious, and the guy sounded just like John Madden.

Also, a wise John Madden once said that when the packers were on the 2 yard line, "Two more yards for the touchdown and 6 points for the Packers."

John Madden is great just to listen to for some hilarious comments. Whenever we're watching a TCU road football game on TV in a party type environment, my friend and I will do our best Pat Summerall & John Madden commentating job of the game.

Yeah, you can't beat it when he imparts wisdom like, "You see, to gain yardage on a pass play, you have to catch the ball."

Actually, in a subtractive colour model, you mix yellow and cyan to get green. In an additive colour model, yellow is not one of the three primary colours. You need to mix red and green to get yellow.

You forgot the physiological, light, colourant, and psychological systems. Also, the achromatic system, but I don't think it applies in this case anyway.

As a staunch defender of Madden, I'm speechless tonight.

At least it was entertaining.

Yes, but on the other hand, if we turned this thread into a discussion about colour theory and models, I suspect a lot of eyes would glaze over.

Is that why it seems like you, cc, and I make at least 80% of the posts between 11 PM and 5 AM ET.... because we put everyone else to sleep?

Don't be so hard on yourself and the others. You don't put us to sleep. We just can't stay awake when reading your discussions.
