My fictional league
North American Baseball was founded in 1980 with 2 leagues of 3 divisions each containing 4 teams.
I was wondering how owners of other fictional leagues catalog the goings on in their league. We are in year 16 and I have the master reports for every year. Is this overkill or what. Also can anyone help on how to set up a homepage for my league. Big Mitch GVBL Springfield Isotopes FBL Greenville Bluesmen SBL LA Dodgers |

I am in the 10th year of my American Baseball Association (not a very original name, I'm sad to say)--a two league, 12 team league (founded in 1940) that emerged out of my much more creative, but now defunct, Rust Belt Baseball League (RIP 1900-1939).
(Tangent: both leagues use mid-1980s league normalization numbers and modern era settings, with financials on). I keep as much as possible in the league-- I save all the HTML files and have a backup ZIP file of each season end. I also have been using Wallman's database utility to build the history. All combined, I can recreate or report on most aspects of the league with little effort. I'm doing the same with my historical replay, but I've been obsessed lately with the fictional league, so I haven't gotten very far in the replay. Thankfully, TigerFan's forward progress fills that need for historical reports. |
