It's not the only MLB game. 2K sports has the rights to make the baseball games. They will be back with a new World Series Baseball in the spring.

I found Sony's last couple baseball games to be unplayable, but I'll rent this one when it comes out. I'll probably buy EA's college game though.

What did you not like about sony's games? I really enjoyed MLB and MVP the last two years.

MVP I love, MLB I just couldn't get into. Not a fan of the pitching system or the player models.

Me too. because i'm not interesting to buy console. And now for me OOTP is the only and (no doubt) preferable next year baseball game option. Waiting spring 2006.

Can anyone tell me why any IGN links never work on my computer. It takes me to the site but only shows like 1/4 of the page and has weird numbers and letters at the end.

If you've got a GC, you're SOL as far as playing any baseball game besides Mario Baseball.

I hope MLB is bug-free this year. That pissed me off about last year's release... Couldn't even play it.
