Exhibition Games

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but is there any possibility that you will be able to set up games or series against teams from different leagues? I understand that it wouldn't make sense to have these games count in the baseball universe, but it would be fun if I could take my independent team and put them against the Yankees just to see how we stack up. I think this would be a really cool.

I really like this idea. I would also add a little bit to it. If you are living in not one but two baseball universes, much like many of us had multiple leagues going in OOTP 6.5, it would be cool to be able to play an exhibition game between teams in these two leagues.

For example: In League A I am the GM and Manager of the Florida Marlins, and have just won the 2019 World Series. In League B, I am the GM and Manager of the Seattle Mariners in 1995, and we just made the playoffs for the first time in team history with Ken Griffey, Jr. It would be really cool to see how these two teams stack up against each other.

To follow up it would also be nice if we had preseason games that could be used to evaluate talent. Too often early in a league all we have to go on are ratings and that never feels right. But if I could see how a player performed over a month worth of spring training games that would help decide who's ready for the big leagues and who gets to spend the season riding in the iron lung.

this should strongly be considered...its a nice comprimise between allowing a champions league to be done and leaving it out of the coding. If we can perform exhibition games across leagues within the baseball universe it would allow us to create a champions league that we could keep track of ourselves without you having to create a vast code. Just allow the boxscore/log export after the game to be saved somewhere.

puh-puh-puh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease Markus
