Does such a league as this exist?

One league I thought might really be interesting is one in which everyone starts in the same size market, same fan support and you draft all of your players (or maybe the first 40 or something).

I think this would be especially fun with a group of very skilled, very interested owners. The best owners all going from the same starting line and see who's the best; that sort of thing.

My question is does this exist or is anyone planning to do this? The next logical step I guess would be for me to start it, but I think I would need a lot of help with that since I'm pretty new to this. I've got a lot of experience on other platforms with online leagues and fantasy leagues, but not on OOTP4 and not as a commissioner.

the VSBL started on that model.
We are now in our 4th season overall, second season based on that draft. (We expanded by 8 teams and decided to just redraft the whole league)

Aside from everyone drafting players, that is what the FDBL started.

p.s. a word to the wise - an initial draft liek that will really tap your energy. Have many breaks, and plan for it to go a long time ( I suggest spanning a few days)

Hey EttaExpress, are you a Marietta native. I'm an alumni of MC - Class of '98. Heard the Express finished 2nd again this year. They are the Atlanta Braves of DIII baseball.

I'm in a league like that now...a fictional one called Laseron Baseball Association. We're still drafting and, yes, the draft is going kinda slowly, but I have a good feeling that this league is gonna be a great one.

Baseball Maelstrom started in exactly that way. In addition, each team's finances were edited to be identical to begin with.
