Rare Opening in one of the great OOTP Leagues

The Summer of 49 baseball league is looking for a skipper to take the helm of the Seattle Rainiers club. We are currently in the 1967 offseason and the Rainiers grabbed Mr. October Reggie Jackson 3rd overall. A great building block indeed.

The site is http://www.gbwebs.ca/so49/

the email address is maxito4000@gmail.com

the spot won't last long.

Email ASAP.

Join the league. It's great! Get ripped off in trades, and then suffer for years without ever making it to the playoffs. That is why I like the league so much.

Jeremy, I was informed by Gary that Brian had stepped down and the team was available. If you want the team, I would assume it's all yours. In fact I comp picked for Houston, but no one has picked after that, so if you would prefer to change that pick, please feel free, just do it before Detroit selects. Sorry for any confusion. Just Seattle available now. Jim

Ok, after further discussion, Jeremy has decided, he doesn't have the time to serve as a full time GM, so Houston is back to open along with Seattle. Both these teams have just picked up a nice young power hitter, and both have picks to go. Seattle in fact has a whole bunch of picks after making several trades last season.

Great league! Gary has done an excellent job taking over for Nate (who is now one of the owners). If you like historical leagues, this is the place to be.

Michael - Do we still have a team in Cincinnati?

Cincinnati is rebuilding. Somehow, I was leading the division in May, and look at what happened? I traded for a power hitter, and the team goes to hell.

Anyone who joins this league, be advised, the Cardinals organization is despicable.
