Diamond King baseball League looking for GM's.

Currently heading into the 2008 off season and the following teams are open:

Yanks
Red Sox
D-Rays
Twins
White Sox
Mariners
Philly
Pittsburgh
LA
D-Backs.

The league has a solid core of owners who like to talk a little smack and have a good time. If you are looking for an established league, head over to the site DKBL and take a look. If you are interested, there is a message board forum for new owners where you can post your information.

Thanks

A few good teams remain (yankees for 1).

IM me at aorcappy if you want a link to the message boards.

Yankees are now gone.

Tampa bay made the playoffs last season and won 99 games.

Seattle won 87 games.

Arizona won 86 games.

And for those who like to rebuild:

Minny has the 8th best minor league system in the league.

Boston and Pittsburgh finished with the 2 worst records meaning they will pick 1st and 2nd in the up coming draft.

And Finally Philly is need of a massive rebuild and could be a real challenge for a GM who likes a challenge.

Either register on the message boards with your information and team you like, or send me IM at aorcappy.

Thanks

What pacrich said

Diamond Kings Baseball League

We're looking for some good owners -- we have a solid core group of owners, and there are a few decent teams left.

Tampa Bay (99-63, lost in ALCS 4-1 to Cleveland)

Chicago (A) (68-94...sadly, this was second in the AL Central)
Minnesota (67-95)

Seattle (87-55)

Philadelphia (75-87)

Pittsburgh (63-99 -- #2 pick in the draft)

Arizona (86-76 -- 2 games back of the Wild Card)
Los Angeles (73-89)

Well, they are both the same league. Sadly, you do need a copy of the game -- I don't think any of us has the time to manually make exports for you. I'll try to find you on AIM to let you know as well.

Still looking for a couple of good owners...

Diamond Kings Baseball League

We've gotten a few teams covered, but here's what's still left...some pretty good rebuilding projects here if you're looking for a challenge. Seattle's in pretty good shape, however.

Chicago (A) (68-94...sadly, this was second in the AL Central)
Minnesota (67-95)

Seattle (87-55)

Philadelphia (75-87)

Pittsburgh (63-99 -- #2 pick in the draft)

Los Angeles (73-89)

Thanks General Mike -- we try to do what we can. This year we're really focusing on increasing interaction and we *might* have a fancy-schmancy new draft utility (it slices AND dices this year) for the amateur draft, turning one of the most frustrating portions of any league into a fun experience for everyone.

Updated Available Teams List:

Chicago White Sox
Minnesota Twins

Philadelphia Phillies
Pittsburgh Pirates
Los Angeles Dodgers

These are some teams with rich histories, people! They might have seen better days...but what better way to prove your managerial prowess and rub it in our faces than to take a team out of the depths of crappiness and make them a contender again? You could be revered in DKBL lore for eons!
