Northern Midwest league playoffs begin

The regular season is complete and the playoffs have begun in the NML. The Green Bay Bobcats have jumped out to a 2 game lead over the Chicago Fire. In the first game Chicago out hit GB 8-7, but a grand slam home run by GB gave them a 7-2 win, in the second game Green Bay got a one hit complete game from there starter for a 3-0 win.

Rockford and Rhinelander split their first two games. Rockford won the first game 2-0 as their starter spread 5 hits over 9 innings. In the second game both teams offense exploded, but Rhinelanders 20 hits gave them a 13-9 win.

The Mallards believe that the league coerced games so as to bring in a larger television market. Chicago should not have won my division. The officiating was throwing games in their favor, all because the Commissioner was looking for mony money in his pocket.

Oh, wait a minute, NML is set in 1921, before television, and hold on, I go this confused with the NBA, not baseball.

OK, sorry about that accusation.
