Thumbs up Perfect Score 100/100 Picture is HERE!!

Okay guys, for a rare moment I am going to brag. I am extremely proud of this feat because it may not ever happen again. I still think I should be immortalized somewhere for this.

Wow. How do you get 100? The highest I've managed is the high 80s somewhere...

Man how did you get that. I have gotten like 121 wins then like 118 in back to back years and then something like 118 or something again, and also that year I had the MVP and Cy Young winner and I think I was only beat like twice in the playoffs. Man great job once again

I've gotten a 99 in my most recent season. I'm not totally sure how I did it. But here are my team rankings

2016 Cleveland Indians
W/L record 117 - 45 .722 40 Games up on the second place Twins
Combined League rankings
Team Batting Avg .300 (2nd behind Colorado's .304)
Team ERA 4.27 (3rd Behind Seattle's 4.17 and LA's 4.23)

Playoffs Records
Beat Seattle 3 games to 2
Beat Tampa Bay 4 games to 3
Beat Atlanta 4 games to 0

I had the AL MVP Josh Hamilton who hit .373 with 41 HR and 149 RBI
And
The AL Cy Young in Quentin Raymo who went 27-3 with a 2.58 ERA in 224 innings

I had a 65 million dollar payroll and brought in 83 million with a Almost Non existing market and poor fan loyalty.

I had one season that I got to 100 with a Yankees career starting in 1920, my team had a winning percentage of over .700, had the Cy Young, MVP, etc. all on the team as well

Edit; Here's a link to the league history; http://www.geocities.com/dodgershhsl/82.htm

Note; it was in the 1929 season, the great irony was seeing Babe Ruth beat out for the triple crown by one point in the batting race. The guy who beat him; his team's catcher.

Nice work. I got a 49 at the end of last season, even though I lost in the world series (in seven games!).

This brings an interesting question. What does the computer use to figure that? I've noticed it likes a lot of wins, and playoff success is weighed heavily. Anyone else have any ideas?

I can't say for sure what exactly has to happen to be perfect. During this season I did have the Cy Young Award winner and the MVP, but I've seen people have both and not score this high. One thing that may have helped was how dominant my pitching was from top to bottom. If you will look closely in the background you will see where my pitcher pitched a complete game and it was game 7 of the World Series. Maybe because my pitching was so great even under pressure like this may have been a factor.

I also think that your salary cap might have something to do with it because I know i have had 121 wins cy young MVP and sweep playoffs but I only got a 96 but my payroll was like 130 mil. (educated guess). So that might also have something to do with it as well

Great job...plus, How did you get the fonts to be so much more readable than mine appear to be, particularly the league leaders on the left..did you change anything?

I dunno if this is viewable, but I got 100 in 2038 with the Pirates...133 wins, had the Cy Young winner, missed the MVP (a Rockies' OF has won 9 MVPs, including this year) and had the ROY. Payroll was $81 million, expenses $88 million, $93 million income. I had two oldish starters who suddenly went from 9's to 10's, which was the main impetus for my season. The scary part was, I was taken the distance in the championship and World series, and, you can see in the image, the final game was decided by one run...

Ok, this should work...

Uh, I should mention I use no house rules whatsoever...

It is SO nice to see the Braves beat the Yanks! I love it. Forget the 100 score, that's a feat in itself.

Go Bravos!

wow.

his "perfect" score becomes a little tainted when you read THIS
thread.

he's a commish of a league and got busted for editing the league file, then got busted again when he brought in a "friend" to run the league (a friend who - magically - was posting with the same IP address).

so, I fully believe in the perfect 100...
