CIBL historical (1988) looking for one
CIBL is an historical league started in 1980 and currently at the end of 1988. We have the Baltimore Orioles available for immediate ownership. They are 3 time world champs and still have a strong core of players. Very experienced core group of owners here, many who have been with the league from the beginning. If you have an interest in historical, check us out http://baseball.ootp.us/index.php If interested drop me a line at longo@brucetel.net Please list your ootp experience.

Orioles are a tough team, generally contend with the Red Sox for the AL East. Yeah, I did say Red Sox and no, the Red Sox have not won a world series. Previous owner built a solid team but needed to step aside.
We are *just* entering the offseason, so you can still get in for the draft and free agency period. This league is a lot of fun. I've been in it since nearly the beginning and just can't get enough of it. For all of you who watched baseball in the late 80s, early 90s, this is your chance to recreate the Orioles history.

This is an excellent, well run league. If you like historical leagues, in the 80's almost entering the 90's, with a bunch of active dedicated owners, run and grab the O's.
I've been owner of the Pirates and just finished a solid rebuilding season by grabbing the division title, only to lose in the first round to Montreal thanks to a bunch of late season injuries. Looking forward to the offseason and grabbing some FA's. Won't start the offseason until week of 10/3 so jump in. Manuel Pirates - CIBL Pirates - CDL |

Great league ... been through the wars and a great core group of owners makes this an interesting fairly dast pased league. Baltimore has a great history but is in arguably the toughest division (Red Sox one a WS early but generally winss 100+ ballgames anually during the regular season ... good thing for Wild Card :-)
