Anyone out there have an explanation for whatever the hell they were wearing yesterday? And what was on their helmets.

The thing on their hemet was the hurricane flag. Usually hung when a hurricane approaches or something in that proximity. I guess it was Homecoming at that school. Some schools are catching on the NFL bug and starting to wear throwback uniforms.

The Hurricanes wore circa-1967, kelly green-and-gold throwback uniforms. In the first half, literally and figuratively, they looked nothing like their usual selves.
