OOTP Baseball Manager 2006 mini update

Just thought I'd update you guys on some of the progress we're making on the next version of the game.

A new website

This website and Sports Interactives site will remain. The main messageboard will still be here. However, we have registered a new domain which will be the place to go for your daily fix of news and information in the build up to the game.

We felt that neither ootpdevelopments.com nor sigames.com were the perfect fit for the kind of content we're looking to give on an almost daily basis. Both of those sites will still contain product information (SI has a softography section for example) and both will still carry news and otehr important stuff about the game but all creative ads will point to the new site.

This site will simply be THE place to go for your game!

The game

Work continues at pace and it's certainly going to be a rough and tough five months getting the game ready for launch. The new site will feature regular blogs and screenshots so you'll be able to find out about things that interest you.

The Manual

We are about to start work on a manual for the game which hopefully should please a number of you.

More news as we have it. Look out for the teaser site coming your way soon...........

This sounds good. Do you have a timetable for when we can check it out besides "soon"?

PS - if there's anything you can do to avoid having it blocked at my work, I'd be highly appreciative.

I wonder if this will be considered better news than the forums staying...

Clicking on a thread called "Test" and finding an official update is a nice surprise!

It's good to hear these forums won't die.

Thank you for the update, Marc. It's good to know that SI has seen the way this community craves information about their beloved game.

I guess for a business sense, it's nice to have a fan base so loyal...

We're used to a loyal fanbase with our Football Manager (Worldwide Soccer Manager) game so it's great to see that there are other games out there in our genre that have similar.

I'm looking forward to getting all the wheels moving on this game!
