OOTP on a Mac?

OOTP is a part of me and I really do not want to let it go....but unless I am totally oblivious to something, it appears OOTP would not run on a Powerbook if I were to get one. I was curious if OOTP would work through Virtual PC and if so, would it be effective or would it move like an ant across the United States. This post may be better suited in off-topic but at the same time the guys who make it probably know best.

No clue about the current version, it is rumored that v7 will have a mac version.

According to this article on Inside Mac Games, OOTP 7 will be available for Mac OS X at the same time as the Windows version of the game!

I run OOTP 6.5 (as well as 6.12) on Virtual PC for my Powerbook. I'm sure it runs a little slower than if it were on a regular PC, but it works fine.
