What if Bonds returns to baseball noticeably skinnier?

The scenario: Barry Bonds returns to active baseball, and upon doing so it turns out he is unquestionably thinner than he was last season.

In your mind, as well as in your conversations with friends, how do you respond?

I expect him to be thinner. He underwent multiple surgeries and has not been able to work out as hard as he usualy does. I am sure he has lost muscle mass and will be back weighing less than before.

Well Sammy Sosa is noticebaly skinnier this season and he has not been on the DL all season.

Wait. Barry comes back and he's skinnier?! Now, this must mean he was on steroids and stopped. But Lindsay Lohan wasn't seen for awhile after Bud Selig announced the new steroid policy. She came back skinny as Paris Hilton. Does this mean Lindsay Lohan was on steroids?! Thx in advance lol.

This is how I feel. The effect of steroids is overblown, but that doesn't mean that I dont believe Barry was on them.

That is entirely possible, actually. Considering how much time he has missed and what his body has been through, it would not be at all surprising to see him drop off even assuming that the he was on 'roids and now is not. Of course, if he performs like that it will all be blamed on the juice.
