Crap..

Okay, so, I unlicensed my OOTP for use on another computer while I was housesitting. The housesitting was cut a little short, and I forgot to unlicense on my way out. Is there anyway to unlicense it without access to the computer it's licensed on, or do I just have to buy another one?

Youu get 2 of them, so you could just use the same order ID.

The other is already set up on my other computer (one which I rarely use and can't get too right now). Perhaps I should have posted this in the right forum too. I'm on a friggin' roll...

You can email them, and they might reset the a license for you.

Just curious, but is there a reason why you can't go back to the house and unlicense or contact whoever's in the house and have them do it for you?

They've done that for me (twice -- once on 5 once on 6). They are pretty accomodating.

It's over 750 miles away.

EDIT: And there's nobody there. (It's sold, hence no longer need for me to housesit.)

Cool, will do. How long did it take for you to hear back?

<--- is going to get p0VVn3d in his online league draft. Curse my delaying on research until the last minute.

Must...get...through...to...house...owners. They still ought to be there, it's in escrow. Now I just have to walk them through something which seems simple but is sure to be the most difficult thing ever.

You could always try AIMing Draft Dodger. He has a pretty good klew about how to solve this type of problem.
