In Game Question
Okay, so I just started to play 6.5 and I'm playing out a whole season, haven't done this well ever. Usually just simulated the things and went on my merry way. In fact this is probably the first time playing version 6 since the 3rd or 4th week it was released. Anyways, I notice that while I'm playing the game that there are players that have their names in orange or green while batting, orange to me means that they are injured or day to day, but this is not the case. Are they colored for being hot/cold, or what? Thanks!

do they have bonuses or is it all based on stats from previous games, or does the consistancy rating play a roll here. Because I've noticed players (Russ Davis) be orange and hitting .218 (still early april) with nothing else but 3 errors (1999 Mariners). Also then my bullpen should be a dark dark green, (ugh!). THanks sweed!

I always considered the cold streak colour to be turquoise or even blue rather than green.

If you look at the bottom of your team roster page, it will tell you who is hot and cold. You don't get bonuses or penalties for these conditions, but it will tell you who has been doing well. It will also tell you who has been doing well on opposing teams as well. It has eveverything to do with numbers "in the last 3 games" or more. I think its a cool feature. I had my cleanup hitter cold for 2 weeks but I stuck by him. Now he is hot. He has been listed as "Last 15 games, .319, 26 RBI 5 HR". It lets me know when they slump and when they don't like in real baseball
