ManagerMD v1.0

ManagerMD v1.2 available now!!!!

http://jove.prohosting.com/faroo6/ootp/ManagerMD.zip

This allows a faster way to get Random Manager Strategies in game.
Readme is fairly thourough and should allow for most to use.

Please give feedback and things you would like to see.

dont you want the managerial strategies to fit the team makeup and not really be random?

i mean, you wouldnt steal, bunt and hit-and-run a lot, with a lineup of 250 lb mashers.

Ideally, you would but I wouldn't even know where to begin coding that, and it would have to be something that would be more ingame than a utility since it would have to reflect all AI transactions (trades, promotions, demotions, etc.) There seemed to be a lot of interest in creating Random AI manager strategies so I took the pen and paper out of the method.

I think the theory behind this is that a manager unsuited to a lineup will result in a poor team record, and therefore he'll be fired, based on MD's method. Of course, the next manager, if chosen randomly, might end up just as bad or worse. I'd say if it's pretty important that your AI managers match the team makeup, the human player will have to intervene. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do that or not, or just chalk it up to really dumb owners making the managerial hiring decisions. Wildly unrealistic, I know...

I've got a couple of doozies in my fictional league (really strange, extreme ratings) so I think seeing how these bad managers will affect the team have made me more interested in my league!
