Outpost League Logo Request (fictional world)

I've been working on a fictional world league for a little while now, which I'm intending to turn into a dynasty thread, and I'm at the stage where I thought I'd put in a logo request to the fine designers that frequent this board.

I won't get into the details of the league background unless someone really wants them, but while the league date will be some 40 years or so in the future, it's important that the logos have something of a nostalgic, classic feel to them -- or at least not be too "futuristic" (define that in logo terms however you'd like).

Thanks a million for any help you can give. I actually tried to make these on my own, but lost patience with Paint Shop Pro and my own abilities to make it work like I wanted.

I hope you share with us the details of your league.

I really like your towns and nicknames...quite traditional...nothing like Eclipse, Rage, Vengence, Magic etc....nothing wrong with those names...I just prefer my nicknames to end with an "s" 95% of the time...Samurai is ok...there are a few like that...Nine also comes to mind...I even use that in my fictional league...the Marston Nine.

I am looking forward to what knuckler, illeracula, Cooleyvol, Ol'Drippy and the other active desingers here in the forum.

They really have their work cut out for them. There are a lot of requests posted.

Yeah, there really are. But as I'm not in a huge hurry (I'm hoping to have the league ready by the end of the summer), I've got time to wait and bump as necessary.

One last bump on this. If no one wants to work on these now, I'll keep trying to make them myself, and no one wants to see that!

Seriously though, since I'm not in a huge hurry on this, if no one takes a shot, I'll withdraw the request and try again at a less busy time.

ifspuds - are you looking for any particluar type of logo, such as cirlce logo's, no circle logo's or a nice mix?

I should have sometime this weekend to take a hack of some of these. I spent most of my logo making time on another request (some 40 odd logo's), and totally didn't see this one.

Actually, all circle logos would be perfect. Simple and classic, which is important in this case.

However, you put an extra "N" in Tornadoes...you made it Tornandoes.

These are all very fine logos...ifspuds is going to have a very fine set of logos.

illeracula, it is amazing that you can turn out such quality and do it so quickly.

You and knuckler may be the best designers we have for that reason...just my opinion.

I could name a half dozen others that have come and gone that were like illeracula and knuckler.

Cooleyvol and jdew can do fine work quickly, too.

pepeda, Cardinal Rule, True Cardinal Fan, FastLane (what a great one he was), dbacks, bigD4VT, San Diego Padre, Markmeister, nmleague were very good and prolific, too.

Then you had the great talents like Le Grande Orange, BigCity/Henry, Shub, Cuss16, Treches and LivnLegend...not too prolific, but did great logos.

I miss all of those guys.

Thanks EC. The more logo's I do the quicker I can get them out. Since a lot of the logo's are cut and paste, its rather easy to find one in the library adjust it and send it out. Doing the logo's is sort of a relaxing method for me, as well, so its a win/win...

PS: Thanks for pointing out my spelling error...happens all the time!
