6.5a Schedule Problem (one game short, All-Star Game issue it seems)

(I posted this in the general OOTP 6 forum, but it probably goes here actually..sry about that)

Created several leagues from scratch (in 6.5a) playing 84, 120, 144, 154, or 162 games. Every single one winds up 1 game short in the standings at the end of the year. (EDIT: The only common thing between them is I dont play an All-Star Game.)

Looking at each team's sched (on the team sched screen), it appears they have the proper number of games, and each one has a "won" or "loss" below it at the end of the year, but the Win/Loss column on the Standings screen does not appear to update with one of the games.

EDIT: Ok, found the problem. I dont use an All-Star Game and it appears if the game schedules games on the date it should be played, they arent counted in the standings.

For example, 84 game schedule. Boston has played 42 games from Apr 1 to May 18. On May 19th, they have a game. The simming pops up "Preparing All Star Game" (which isnt played, cause Im not using it) and also processes the other games for the day....but doesnt advance the Win/Loss column for each team. On May 20th, Boston's schedule shows them has having played 43 games. They are 21-21 in the standings.

EDIT AGAIN: Just reran two leagues with the All-Star Game turned on and they do play the proper number of games. Also, generated a schedule with the All-Star Game and then manually removed it from the sched. Again, they do play the proper number of games.

So, generating a schedule and telling the generator not to use an All-Star Game apparently is the issue (as the generator schedules games on the day the AS Game would be played).

Look at the edit schedule screen in each of your problem leagues. Does it still have a date beside the words ALL STAR DATE -

If so click on it to change the date and just leave it blank. I ran a test and that eliminated the problem for me.

Yep. Discovered that not too long after I found and posted the problem. Actually, I didnt try leaving it blank, I just adjusted it to a day that no games were played. I'll have to try the blank thing.
