Game is messed up

Ever since I bought it the screen has been messed up. The words on the right part of the screen are missing, it's just blank boxes with no words. It's impossible to set line-ups when I can't see anything.

If I go to trade player I can see everything on the left (add player, add cash) but if I look to the right it just has the box but you can't see the writing (add player, add cash) and when I add a player his name doesn't show up, just the box. This happens to a lot of things, like on the line-up screen when I have to set the position. I can see Catcher, 1B and 2B but then it goes blank with just the boxes.

Is there anyway to fix this? What in the world is wrong with it?

Check for the file "Game Configuration" in the main directory and disable Direct 3d. Also, what screen resolution are you using? I don't think it works on 800x600.

I can see everything now but the font is all messed up, I can hardly read any of the stuff.

What is your screen resolution?

Also, check that you have the default font size as normal in Windows.

How do I change the font size?

On the desktop, right click and then check properties. 3 or 4 tabs over will be settings. Change it to 1024x768
