park and parkconfig -- it's been a while

I've been just doing the old copy/paste of park and parkconfig dat files for sooooo long, I forgot how change park settings....

Here's my issue -- just DL'ed 6.5, and since it's the dawn of a brave new day, figured might as well update some of the out-of-date stadiums I have.

Basically -- I'd like to keep 27 of the 30 current parks/park settings, but replace the Cincy, Philly, and DC stadiums with new ones I grabbed from Joe's site.

I unzipped and converted the 3 stadiums (actually -- grabbed all 30, but only copied the 3 I want) and put them in my 6.5 graphics folder.... now - the problem is, how do I get them to appear as available options in the Team setup page?

Or -- is the only way to do this by cracking open the dat files and brushing up on my hex notation?

Coulda sworn there was an easier way to do this.....

The graphics are only the pics associated with a ballpark. You'll need to create the park in the league (i.e. get it into the park & parkconfig files.. no hex editing required, just some typing.)

Do this...

1. League Menu - League Setup item
2. Basic Setup screen - Edit Ballpark (lower right)
3. Click Create New Park button on Edit Ballpark screen
4. Type in the info about the park and associate the pic by the In-Game Field Picture item. When you click that, type in the location of the pic. If its named "cincy.bmp" and in the Graphics folder, just type "cincy.bmp"; if you have it in a subfolder (graphics/bp, for example) then type "\bp\cincy.bmp"...


or...

If you have a league with the ballpark info already, then load that league, and export the park info (Edit Ballpark screen, upper right "Export Park"). That writes a file to a location you choose. Then load the new league and "Import Park".
