Question about OOTP6
I'm on a rather long and boring vacation right now, and I'm considering downloading OOTP6 via the web purchase option. My question is, if I download and install the game to my parents computer (I'm on summer break from college), will I still be able to download and install it at school as well, or will OOTP consider my registration as "used up" and not let me move the game to my home computer?
Also in the same vein, what happens when you web-purchase software if you need to do a HDD format, or buy a new computer, etc... Thanks for any help, spim |

Yeah, it's really easy to switch to different computers. Just go to Control Panel>Elicense Control and unlicense the game for that computer. When you install the game on the new computer, just select license and enter your order id the first time that you start it up.
You have 2 licenses, BTW, so you can install it on up to two computers at the same time. I've moved licenses around my various computers since v4 and have never had a problem. |

BTW, you probably won't have an "Elicense Control" in your Control Panels until you install the game, so don't be worried if you don't see it on your computer pre-install.

thanks for the quick response, I think I'm going to get it.. it looks like a hell of a game. I think I'll start out by simming some Twins stuff to see how Kirby Puckett does without being forced into early retirement
