The Return of Laptophound's Summer and Winter Classics

Hello, everyone! We have a special announcement today, and it’s the return of Laptophound’s Summer and Winter Classic championships. Qualification for the Summer Classic will begin Friday, May 1 and run through July 31. The top 128 teams in the standings will qualify for the championship, which will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 11am ET. There will be unique cards as prizes, just like in PT 26.

The standings will use the traditional PTCS points and will include both the 5L and 6L Perfect Drafts. If you enter those PDs, then you will be attempting to qualify for the championship, which will be seeded according to the place in the final standings.

The format of the Summer Classic draft and the card prizes will be tentatively announced on Laptophound’s stream following TWIPT on Aug. 6.

We will have more details on the Winter Classic Championship at a later date, but it will run through the same process between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31. The championship is tentatively slated for Jan. 12.

Please note: In the spirit of the competition and Laptophound's intent, managers that try to qualify with more than one team will be removed to make room for the next highest qualifier.
