Fictional Leagues

Ok so I have a little question. I like to create a fictional world starting in 1871 and sim through the years till I get to modern day then jump in and grab a team. Over the course of the years I add leagues and by the time it is 2000 or so I have around 30 leagues. Very fun for me and I enjoy it immensely. I am going to start from scratch this year since I missed OOTP25. The question I want to ask is besides the Major league in the USA i add a Cuban and Japanese fictional leagues. SInce the baseball in those countries in real life is very close to American ball would you classify them as Major leagues or International leagues, and would you classify any others as Major?

Well I believe the Mexico league, UK League, and Dutch League are all considered major leagues in the international aspect.

I add them as internation leagues if I want the player creation modifier to use the "country score". Where MLB is 1.00, Japan will be like .850 or something like that. If you create them as a Major League, it will default to 1.00. At least that's what 25 and earlier did. I haven't tried with 26. The kind of annoying thing about that is they don't count as major international leagues, so when looking at stats, you have to sort by major OR international, or show all, which will include minor league stats.

I currently have a league going into its 100th season and over time have added leagues from Mexico, Cuba (about to expand to entire Caribbean), Europe, and Africa. I played every season though. I think if I do that again, I'm going to use your method.

I also like to increase the creation modifier over time as the league matures. The entire continent of Africa is hot garbage talent wise from the start, but you have to assume they'd improve over the decades, so to me it makes sense to bump the modifiers.
