Help with couple logos

First, a year logo for the Steel City Miners using the attached image.
I would like a circular logo with the logo in the middle and a yellow/gold background. Then the words Steel City Miners on the outside circle. Think Pirates/Steelers for colors.

Secondly, I'd like a logo for the Mississippi Half-Step. Use attached logo (it needs some cleaning up if possible). Circular with Mississippi Half-Step on the outside.

You want the words "Half-Step" on the outside of the Steal Your Face logo on it's own or in a circle? ie: the Steal Your Face logo would be inside another circle?

Yes.
Show Mississippi Half-Step in a similar way to Indiana Racers shown here. And as you said, with the Steal Your Face inside the circle (like the car).

Your namesake, Baby Doll Jacobson, is one of my favorite "underrated" MLB players.

Along with Ken Williams... Williams should be in the MLB Hall of Fame.

They played with the great George Sisler with the St. Louis Browns, I think.

What does the nickname "Half-Step" means?

I also really like that Miners logo image - although to me it looks more like "five guys who just threw a sixth guy off a cliff". Like a team called the Mobsters

Baby Doll Jacobsen was a player I discovered in my youth playing a Sports Illustrated dice game with "the greatest players (up to that point in time)" of 16 franchises. He was obviously on the Browns/Orioles team. I didn't know much about him but just liked the name.

Half-Step is in reference to a Grateful Dead song call Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo. Just thought it would be a cool name for a team. I have some tie-dyed uni's but they are kind of weird.
