Quick question about Cato's utility?
I got it working fine and know how to use it pretty good but my main problem is when i try to import the player awards it gives the awards to the players for most of the awards but it doesnt put any players in the award spaces for Manager of the year, Fireman of the year, and for MVP for the year it just leaves those award spaces blank. Is there anything i can do to fix this so it fills in the blank spaces? Thanks for the help.

No, I think you need to fill those in yourself. You can't import those from OOTP directly like you can for the other awards, because those awards don't exist in the game.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong; I've only used History v5 twice. |

Thanks for the replies so basically i just hit import awards and then it will fill in the basic awards that i got before. Then second i add the players into the blank award spaces and then just hit the exit button. Thanks again.

You got it. In the blank spaces, you can either use the drop-down controls to find the correct player, or just type in a few characters in the player's last name, hit the down arrow on your keyboard, and the utility should find the correct player automatically.

With this utility - does anyone know how you can create CSV files for seasons that have passed? Do you go to the past almanac and type that in the location? I hav edone the present year - but I want to add the last two seasons.

Bamma, yes you have it correct. Or you can just leave them blank.
asaintsfan, the program requires the csv files from CommishJoe's utility which are created from the game's .dat files. Once you proceed to the next season, you cannot create the csv files for the previous season. So, you will not be able to get the past season into the database. The only 'workaround' is to use CommishJoe's career_exporter utility. This will give you the stats for those 2 years on each player's page, but not the full leaderboard, team, ... pages for those years.
