Crashes when importing players

When i try and change the year when importing a historical player the game will crash

Seems to be working OK when I try it on a few different saves. What type of game are you trying to import into?

I did it on a standard game starting on July 1 and it only happens when i change the year of the import from the players rookie season to any other

If you try it with a different save, does it still happen? If it doesn't, we'd like to have a look at the one where it is crashing. If it does, then I suspect there might be an issue with the data files in your game - if you're on Steam, right-click on FHM6 in your library and select properties-local files-verify integrity of game files, or if you have the fastspring version, re-install the last update. If there's some corruption there, that should fix it.

I just figured out the issue the crash occurs when I press enter/return after entering the player name but not if i press the tab key

If I do that, it just goes to the Select Year field if I've selected a player already, or does nothing if I haven't. Are you on a PC or Mac?
