Player Screen and Arbitation

I know I can go to the Front Office - Player Salaries and find out if a player is eligible for arbitration or not, but does anyone else think this would be nice info to have on each players page? For instance, when I open up a guy that is Arb eligible, his contract status just shows that he is signed though 2003 (for example) with a salary of 300,000 (for example). I just think it would be nice to see that his is arbitration eligible right there?

Also, if you try and work a deal with an arb eligible guy, and he gets mad at you, does this effect his salary for next year at all?

If I try to deal with a player and he gets mad at me, I just trade him! I have no patience for spoiled whiners. Especially high-rated players whose stats stink.

I was happy to hear that the patch puts more emphasis on stats than ratings when it comes to salaries.

Did the patch make players less tolerant in negotiations? I offered a guy a contract, he said it was too long. Then I offered a year less, and he said he would play elsewhere next year. Isn't that a little quick? This is especially frustrating when it is a guy who gave you no clue in the first place of what he wanted for a contract. I would vote for more patience versus less patience, especially when you are talking about the contract length. If you are majorly lowballing their asking price, it makes sense. But in this case, it was just plain silly. Anyone else encountering such quick attitudes?

Maybe there should be an adjustable setting for attitudes of players during negotiations: on one end of the spectrum have "easy going" and on the other "George Steinbrenner on Roids"

Seriously, obviously this would be a v6 thing, but it would nice if there was a way to make specific aspects of the game more easy/difficult. For example: team health, player development, increase/decrease likelihood of a career year, roster negotiations, fan loyalty, etc. Just a thought.
