Do these plays have different outcomes?
Just curious...
1) Grounder to first. 1B steps on the bag and throws to second. Is the runner going to second ever called out? I've played out about 70 games and the call is always safe. Even in 70+ games this play doesn't come up too often so I realize my sample size is limited. 2) WP/PB...is the baserunner ever out at home? I know this is a very rare play. Not criticizing...just curious if anyone has seen an out call in this situation. Screenshots of either example would be nice. |

for 2 I don't remember. I haven't played enough v11 to see either play.

2) Everytime it happens it always seems to end in a run in the games I've played. |

I've never seen #2 not end in a run -- and I play out all my games, so I see this play a lot.

But that sort of play is not scored as a "baserunner out advancing" which only occurs when the batter has not put the ball in play. It would just be a single and batter out at 2B with an assist to the OF.

True, but it is the same sort of thing. It should be one of the possibilities (Albeit rare) if the game engine decides there's an out.
