Universe creation question
Let's say I'm making a universe with a major league and two international leagues. Do I really need to give the international league a minor league? What would be the advantages and disadvantages to this?

You don't need to give the international leagues minors if you don't want to.
The only real advantage to giving them minors is that you'd be able to see the players' minor league-level stats. If you don't create minors, players get assigned to a "reserve roster", which is essentially a practice squad - the players still develop, but no stats get accumulated. The reserve roster route should speed the game up a bit, since no games are being simulated for them. |
