Pack odds
When you receive a pack (of whatever level), is the one guaranteed card always the minimum (e.g. Bronze for a standard pack, Silver for a Silver pack, etc.)?
If not, what is the distribution of card tiers? For example, would that card be Silver on half of all standard packs (half the probability of a bronze), Gold on 10% of packs (1/10 the probability of bronze), etc.? |

Thanks
That's what I thought. But I've never really paid attention enough to be sure.
I was curious whether they (a) picked a card from the guaranteed tier and then five more distributed according to the pack odds, or (b) picked 6 cards using the pack odds then went back to make sure that at least one was at or above the guaranteed tier. If not, then randomly replace one card with a guaranteed tier card. It makes a slight difference in figuring out the odds of pulling a perfect, for example, since in a standard pack you just get one in every 200 packs while in the 2nd example you get one every 167 (about). From a programming standpoint, it would be a lot easier to pick the guaranteed card (Bronze) - then use the odds to pick the last 5.

Fabtron is correct - Dish confirmed in another thread that the guaranteed card is always as listed in the pack (bronze for standard, silver for silver, gold for gold, etc).
For figuring out odds, its 5 chances per pack, not 6. |

The card odds in these games can be tricky, but ensuring your play remains fun is key. I've been applying techniques from https://peakycasino.net/responsible-gambling/ to keep my gaming in check. It's good to remember games are entertainment, not a money-making scheme. Balancing fun and responsibility makes for a better experience with any odds.
