Alek Manoah lasted only 1.1 innings, giving up six runs. The Twins beat the Blue Jays, 6-3.

Brandon Lowe homered for Toronto.

That is six losses in a row.

The Jays broke their losing streak on the strength of a Grand Slam by Seth Brown and back-to-back dingers by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Anthony Santander.

They beat the Twins, 6-5.

Paul Blackburn put them in position to win and a three-run double by Nolan Arenado in the 8th drove it home as the Jays beat the Phillies, 5-2.

Jose Trevino homered for Toronto.

Yu Darvish made his first start coming off the IL and lasted less than an inning before leaving with pain in his hand.

The rest of the team stepped up, however, including a 4 for 4 day, including a home run, for Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The Jays beat the Braves, 5-3.

Jose Berrios pitched six shutout innings as the Jays beat the Mets, 3-1.

All of the Toronto runs came from solo shots by Marcell Ozuna, Anthony Santander, and Aaron Judge.

Aaron Judge reached the 100 RBI plateau and Brandon Lowe homered, but the Jays' bullpen was rough today, losing 11-5 to the Cardinals.

With that loss, it is now official. The Jays have been eliminated from playoff contention.
