It WORKED!!!!! Ok as many of you know my work career is OVER! I am stuck here at the house pretty much 24/7 now so i aske dfor a little help on how to rate fighters and got some (yea) anyway I have decided on doing the Medina Curiel fight card overall fights meh (the two i saw anyway so far) I'm not that impressed by this first fighter I did he did take a loss via UD (it wasnt close) HOPEFULLY I got it close to being right I did not get the punch totals on these two fights so i guessed. anyway here is my first one Edgar Vazquez Carrillo 2-2-0 no kos period and yes he is actually 17. let me know what you think im going to post his opponent Roberto Andrew Carbajal Mendoza making his debut

Made his debut in the Medina/ Curiel Fight card 4 rounder scored a KD uppercut over Carillo round 2. He did not put on the gas after the KD so i dinged him on his killer insitnct. His punching accuracy was good and recorded an (easy) unnaimous decision. Would love input on how i did with these two and can and will do more if you guys want me to

Folks i just finished watching the Medina/ Curiel fight Curiel moved up in weight to take on Medina for his WBO bantamweight title. Medina won by UD (wacked scoring from 120-108 Lisa Giampa to 115-113 and 116-112)

Now the win and retained the WBO Bantamweight title. Problem is he is only listed as a welterweight and currentrly the #2 WORLD Bantanweight. Seiya Tsutsumi is #1 overall Median beat Yoshiki Takei via 4th rd TKO to win the title in Japan. Now being #2 i have to rate him at least a 10 right? Strong hooks loves outside fightning, good condition no cuts a few head clashes. make matters worse there is no record (or i cant find one) of Tsutsumi nor ANYONE in the current top 10 except Cain listed as a 4OR. there was a fight for the title eliminatore in Liverpool recently between Andrew Cain (w #9 Bantam) and Alejandro Jair Gonzalez the co feature of the Ball Figueroa fight. If you guys want me i'll rewatch that Cain fight again (it was good) and do a current rating on that and compare it to Medina (who is much higer ranked) and try to post it by the weekend. And then try something for the bantamweight to get them current or listed. Thoughts?

I don't think being #2 automatically means a 10 rating is appropriate. Tsutsumi is only a 5 in the db.

He could probably stand an update. The 5 is from October 2024, right after the Inoue fight. Although, to be fair, he hasn't looked spectacular in his fights since then.

so after watching his two most recent fights a few times I revamped the ratings for Naoya Inoue as a Super Bantanweight aka Light Featherweight. Lets be honest the Bantamweight division is a stepping stone for a LOT of fighters (hence why there are not that many current rated fighters in here and that WILL change)

now having said that here are teh changes i made draw power bumps up to an 8 (he desrves that) Inetllect bumped to a 10 he sticks to HIS game plan throughout the fight. CF B/S (start yelling) 12 each KD1 1 Kd 2 0 (he was only KD twice and BOTH were in super bantam/light feather) recovery absorb cuts all 1's KI 7 aggressive 8. Endurance 9 (considered 10 but will yield to 9) defense -2 he is hard to hit but not that hard like Floyd so -2 works here. starter 1 ropes 2 now the BIG conterversies power goes to 7 givine his knock out punch and a formula i found buried in the forums on here (understand the rating categories) i noticed he had a good hook, jab and combo, with an occassional uppercut thrown in. for a TOTAL rating of 11. This is a helluva lot more fair considering he defended his unified title 4 times in a row this year 5th total and a total unified in the 6th bout prior over Stephen Fulton in an 8th rd TKO (plus someone else arguying that P4P Usky deserves at least a 10 (he does) from his 6 rating. Now i know the ratings are old (i dont have a problem with that BUT fighters like Usyk and Inoue are way better now than their previous ratings.

Now seeing how Inoue is the man for bantamwights (in current era Edgar Jofre is in another GALAXY forget that) i'll use him as a starter for the bantanweights i'll be working on in the next few days. The one I will be doing is Takuma Inoue (his younger brother) Andrew Cain Christian Medina and Seiya Tsutsumi and others once i get a chane to look at them. Cain and Medina fought recently so that will be easy the other two ill have to see if DAZN has them and go from there
