News/Notifications

I'm a month or two into my first league. I have noticed I do not receive notifications of events I would expect to. I have my news filters set to All Messages, and my News Subscription set to News from My Entire Organization.

But I do not receive news or any notifications of the following:

-- Scouting reports when Scouts finish their assignments
-- Trade responses from other teams
-- Feedback from FA on contract offers

Am I missing something, or is this a bug of some sort?

are you sure you have the correct manager selected?

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm the comish and the general manager of my team, I've basically chosen to get all the news updates from the league and my team.

Yes, I'm only playing with one manager, and he is selected.

I'm not seeing this problem.

I've set up a manager playing in commish mode, but has no team... just there if I need him. And then the manager I play that's not in commish mode.... maybe it has something to do with being in commissioner mode?

I turned off commish mode (which I was also in), made some transactions and simed a bit, but the problem didn't resolve itself.

I quit out of my league and started a new league off the default player universe, and notifications come in OK.

My first league used the MLB 2.0 quickstart, so maybe the problem is with this?

haven't seen this problem, but also didn't use the quickstart. however, if a couple of you guys are experiencing the same thing, might want to post it in the tech problem so they can look into it

I saw this using the demo and the MLB 2006 quick start as well - not sure if it was something I set up wrong or not - but I was not getting the info (notification, e-mails) that I thought I might.

Created an account to say thanks. Was not getting any and spent a couple hours searching for a fix. I was gm of the team but didnt have myself selected i guess.
