It's always nice to see one of the old warriors of the WPK capture a bit of their past glory, however briefly.
Jaime Schardein, two-time Pitcher of the Year award winner and the author of the first perfect game in WPK history, has had two fine starts in 1975 for his new team, the Milwaukee Cadets, and in his most recent he got the complete game shutout, allowing just 3 hits to the El Paso Dawgs, while striking out 3 and walking none. At age 39, Schardein's glory days are well behind him but occasionally he will hurl a gem to let everyone know he is still the great Jaime Schardein.
