In a relatively boring fight Peter Jackson won the LBA heavyweight championship in a MD victory over James Jeffries. The judges scored the fight alot closer than most at ringside had it scored.

Jackson took control early and never looked back. On my score card Jackson won the first 4 rounds and then sealed it by winning 12-14. I also had him winning the 7th and 9th. Jeffries couldn't get any kind of momentum going with the 10th and the 11th being his only back to back winning rounds.

my final score had it 145-141
shane mccleod at ringside had it 145-142
the judges scored it 143-142, 143-143, and 144-142

Jackson runs his record to 9-0 while Jeffries falls to 8-1.
