Not much new to report ..... moving toward championships bouts and starting to get some club fighters ...

HEAVYWEIGHT
Peter Jackson has 8 wins and is awaiting an opponent for the title. It would appear that James Jeffries (7 wins) and Frank Childs (6 wins) are the two top candidates.

MIDDLEWEIGHTS
Jack Dempsey NP has 8 wins and is awaiting an opponent for the title. It would appear that Bill McCarthy, Jack Burke and Bob Fitzsimmons (all with 6 wins) are the top candidates.

MW CLUB FIGHTERS include P. McCoy, Brady, Greenfield, and Chandler

No other division has any fighters awaiting a Title opponent. Terry McGovern does have 7 wins and is closing in. There are a few fighters in the other divisions with 6 wins. It would appear that I will have a couple of Champs by the end of the year.

The fighters who already have 8 wins will fight the lowest rated opponent on months they are scheduled to fight, to try and avoid a loss. Rankings begin at 10 fights and if no one has 8 wins by that time the top two or first two ranked fighters will fight for the title.

Featherweights Smith and Murphy are the only other two fighters to fall to the club circuit.

The Highly anticipated Bad Blood Rematch between Steve Taylor and Denver Ed Martin happens in July. Stay tuned for results.
