Just wanted to thank you actionjackson, I recently created a fictional league and decided to use the 1984 stats output and settings based on your posts - it's been good - I think the different leaders for BA/HR/RBI were around .340/40/125 after the first season, which is in line with the kind of output I was looking for. Definitely a lot of steals (a player on my team actually led the league with either 96 or 98) but I like it, it adds more value to players with speed and keeps me on the lookout for them.
