Well the Jays 1979 season comes to an end losing 4-1 to the Yankees at home on September 23rd. 9.5 games back and another season where the wheels fall off after July.
Looks like the Angels and Astros are poised to return the post season. Angels will be looking for a three-peat since I started this Historical Sim winning in 77, 78 and maybe 79?
Statistically speaking everything improved this year except the long ball and Horner who was supposed to be the hero for the Jays didn't pull off a Tulo/Price/Revere/Lowe type atmosphere this season!
