The Toronto Blue Jays had a great 1979 draft - We landed Fernando Valenzuela SP & Mike Boddicker SP & Dave LaPointe SP.
Toronto is 1 game back of Baltimore as of Friday June 8th, 1979.
The SP rotation continues to highlight a great season, meanwhile the bullpen has recently began to slip and also the early in the year power has been in a slump thus effective the number of runs scored.
We were without Paul Molitor for a few weeks and he is the catalyst in our offense so we are glad to see him back in the lineup and leading off to set the table.
Pedro Torres our superstar spec took the pen spot from Bob Lacey who just doesn't have it this year. Torres has been subject to several trades but, I decided from the beginning to hold on to him.
Meanwhile don't look now can the Angels win back to back to back this year??!!
